Bullying was known in the past as part of growing up of children until it become a major issue in society because of some victim of bullying try to kill himself / herself.

There is a lot of way to prevent bullying, first teachers or professors in school should be observant of his / her student so he / she can intervene when bullying is happening. Second record and report the incident so the authorities of the school will investigate the incident. parents should also the first to teach his / her son / daughter how to deal with bullying Bullying like the article says  http://www.apa.org/helpcenter/bullying.aspx

Schools and classrooms must offer students a safe learning environment. Teachers and coaches need to explicitly remind students that bullying is not accepted in school and such behavior will have consequences.
